WHO WE ARE.
Drift Appalachia is composed of like-minded individuals with over 100 years of combined experience in all parts of organized drifting. From organizing some of the first drift events in the US, to growing events worldwide, from driving grassroots days to professional competition, all of us, throughout our careers, have lovingly grown the sport of drifting from its infancy in the US to where it is today.
We have joined together to create and grow groundbreaking driving experiences, tying together all that we’ve learned with the dreams that we’ve had for over 20 years. We grew up as drivers and organizers seeing grainy, low-resolution footage and VHS tapes of what drifters in Japan did on their own mountain roads, but a touge here in the states always felt like an unattainable dream; something we wished we could experience here, but would never be able to…
Through a lot of perseverance, experience and hard work, that dream became reality. Not only have we made it possible for drivers to shred a touge legally on real mountain roads right here in the US, we are also proud to be able to contribute to the local economies of the locations we visit. We are not simply another drift organizer; we are creating a showcase of what drifting is and bringing to life the vision we share of the things that it can be. We bring in the highest skill and create the perfect environment to produce moments we’ve all dreamt of, and memories that we’ll look back on for years to come.
